"Faithful to Finish" Original Abstract Embroidery, 6.5 x 9 inches

$100.00
Sold Out

When I was younger, faith seemed like something to be achieved, a virtue that I would eventually succeed in if I had enough strength, determination, and courage. But the more life I’ve lived with God, the more I realize the depths of my own doubt, faithlessness, and uncertainty. It is in these dark spots of my own heart that God continually shows up to demonstrate his faithfulness. Each time I experience him, a part of my heart learns to believe something new, and when I forget the things I’ve learned, he shows up again, ready to remind my heart of his goodness.

This piece, ‘Faithful to Finish’, represents the journey of faith that the parts of our hearts take through the darkness in us and around us. Sometimes we may feel like we lack faith and are hanging on by just a thread. Other times we may feel full of faith, able to overcome the obstacles in front of us. But no matter how we feel, God is faithful to reveal his goodness, his strength, his provision, and his love for us, and we build a beautiful history and memory of our experience with him at each moment. Our stories of faith are really God’s story of faithfulness to finish what he started in us.
