"Making Space for Present" Original Embroidery Art, 7 x 7 inches

$86.00
Sold Out

Sometimes the hard work of transition is not adjusting to change but focusing on the present. It is easy for me to run away with my future “what if” thoughts, especially in seasons of transition, but the present is the only place I can truly live. Instead of getting stuck in the loop of thoughts that are not yet real, I am learning to hold space for the present, so that when the present season ends, I will have experienced and enjoyed it. I hope this piece is an encouragement for you to push back the cycle of future thoughts for a moment, hold space for the present, and enjoy the moment you’re in.

D E T A I L S

  • Hand embroidery on 100% cotton fabric with cotton thread.

  • Mounted using archival techniques on conservation matboard with a cotton backing. This helps protect the stitching from sagging over time and prepares it for framing.

  • 7" (17.75cm) by 7" (17..75cm) and approximately 1/4 inch thick.

This artwork is intended to be displayed in a frame, but it can also be set on a floating shelf or bookshelf. If you are interested in custom framing or want to know more about how to best frame and care for embroidered pieces, please send me a message. I'd love to help!
